Hello NFT Contributors and Stakeholders,
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to meet with us recently to update your federal funding crosswalk to NFT. This is a crucial step for successful integration with GARP and has streamlined reporting in the new Landscape Resiliency Accomplishments Reporting Module (Landscape ARM).
Below you can see your state’s NFT “Landscape ARM Integration Readiness” status (as of 6/20/2025) which represents your data’s ability to automatically pre-populate accomplishment reports within the Landscape ARM. Our goal is to get everyone in the “green” ASAP, so please use this Zoom Scheduler to arrange time with us, and we will help you get your data ready for GARP. Hurry – slots are available through August, and since NFT has started powering GARP this month, it’s important your data is accurate!
What about CWDG treatments?
People have been asking: should treatments funded directly by Community Wildfire Defense Grants (CWDG), be included in our NFT data contributions? You certainly can include them, if that aligns with your internal data management needs. However, all treatments funded by CWDG community-level awards must still be uploaded through the Fire Adapted Communities Accomplishments Reporting Module (you can get more details about the CWDG Mapping Requirements here). Later this year, treatments uploaded through CWDG reporting will be integrated with NFT. So, if you do intend to store CWDG-funded treatments in your NFT-feed dataset, please use IIJA-CWDG (or a similarly identifiable code) as the Federal Funding Program so the NFT team can detect and handle duplicate treatments. You can view the updated NFT Data Model documentation here.
